What this is
Gov Bid Software is a public register of tender notices for Canada and the United States, and a workspace for the organizations that bid on them. The register is open to anyone; the workspace (profile, pursuits, alerts) belongs to each organization.
Why it exists
Public procurement in Canada and the United States is published across many portals, in two languages, with deadlines set in the buyer's time zone and rules that differ by jurisdiction. Most small bidders follow it in a spreadsheet and miss closings. A register that keeps the source of every notice is the base for everything else.
How it works
Notices are read from official sources as each is connected; the coverage page says which are. Each notice is stored with the snapshot it came from, so every fact on a notice page traces to what the source said and when. Status is computed from the closing time when you look, and a change at the source, such as a new deadline, an amendment or a cancellation, is kept as history rather than written over.
House rules
No invented notices and no invented numbers: an empty table stays empty and says why. No success fees. No feature is described before it exists, and nothing on this site uses AI today. Buyer contact details stay off public pages.
